1. A shoot arise from Jesse's stem
A royal apparel, a King's emblem
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him
Through his name's compass shall Gentiles see
Who is he, Who is he that walks with men
The Son of God,the Father's known
Shall Immanuel's name be penned
As Jesus, God saves his own

2. The wolf will dwell with the lamb again
The Leopard will lie down with the kid
But how shall such a wonder be
Lest the name of Jesus bring heavenly peace

Across the world lay many Kings
With power in their earthly realm
But what name shall unite a scattered world
Tis Jesus name, the drawing word

3. Earth shakes in wonder of such great a name
Lining the earth is such great fame
For an attraction, for angelic sight
Is Jesus Christ, the name with pride

Power rest in the hearts of men
But grace doth rest in the mind of God
For he has given a single name to them
That call on Jesus, the Saving Lord

4. It will sweep into Judah, it will reach to it's neck
It will spread its wing and fill the land with breadth
With it all plans devised will be thwarted
For God With Us, the warrior's belt

Many crumble, many stumble
The name of of Jesus demons fumble
It is not their lips, but their fear not blot
For this they are snared and even caught

5. Men have seen a great light
Could a reference be a slave's might
For Zebulun and Naphtali, this is true
For a saviour walks among them in nameless clue

Wonderful,Counselor, Mighty God
Eternal Father, names of God
But there has not been given any name to man
Than Jesus, the healing one.
